MMA: Fluid Multi Discipline Syllabus

MMA Training Syllabus at Kombat Hall

Our MMA program at Kombat Hall follows a structured yet dynamic progression system, combining striking, wrestling, grappling, conditioning, and fight IQ. While MMA does not follow traditional belt systems, students advance through skill-based levels that focus on real-world performance and ability.

FOUNDATION LEVEL (Beginner)

Goal: Build Strong Basics and Safe Training Habits

Striking 

  • Jab, Cross, Hooks

  • Low Kick, Front Kick, Body Kicks

  • Basic Kickboxing combinations

  • Basic Defensive movements (guard, slips, footwork)

Grappling

  • Takedown fundamentals

  • Basic clinch control

  • Guard position awareness

  • Escaping from bottom positions

Sparring and Conditioning

  • Controlled Technical Sparring

  • Managing Distance

  • Core Strength 

  • Stamina Training

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

Goal: Blend techniques and improve fight transitions.

Striking 

  • Advanced combinations

  • Elbows and knees

  • Counter striking

  • Cage-style movement control

Grappling

  • Single leg, double leg

  • Defence against takedowns

  • Wall clinch work

  • Locks and Defence from Mount and Guard

Sparring and Conditioning

  • Situational Sparring

  • Controlled MMA Rounds

ADVANCED LEVEL

Goal: Fight application and tactical control
